Sam is a registered psychologist passionate about providing client centred and trauma informed care in a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment. Sam's approach is warm, engaging, and respectful, and she strives to create a judgement free environment where clients can build confidence to improve their broader well-being.
Sam's clinical areas of interest include eating disorders, perinatal mental health, co-occurring complex mental health and physiological health presentations (including functional neurological disorder), trauma disorders, borderline personality disorder and LGBTQIA+ community supports.
Sam utilises several evidenced-based therapeutic modalities, including:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Motivational Interviewing
Sam has also completed specialised training to deliver CBT-E and DBT-E for eating disorder treatment.
Sam works with teens (ages 13+) and adults.
